I.. Kind of relate? Like I'm the kind of person who says just because they're family you dont need to love them. Like there's no reason for me to love a family member JUST because we're family if they don't treat me like a friend. I don't think I'm 100% afamillial, but i also have always just thought that family members who get along with each other are good friends with the same blood. That's it. Like my sister calls our cousin her cousin even though they are literally best friends. For a long time I tried telling her that, but she'd just say she doesn't count because she's her cousin. But then what about if they didn't get along? Using the same term to describe their relationship wouldn't make sense, you know? (now she does call the cousin her best friend and cousin though lol) and I do feel love for my family, but mostly because they're who I grew up with and lived my life with, and spent time with, and I guess for the most part they cared for me.

However, I believe that alloros who are supportive of arospec people should be welcome here. Education around aromanticism is important, and what better way to educate alloros than allow them in a space full of aros?

I finished attack on titan and that one convo between eren and Armin confused me(also them suddenly grabbing into each other for a hug lowkey made me think they were gonna start making out)
What was the most confusing thing is Armin saying he was going to hell with eren. Why?? I don't get it

Being aro does not necessarily mean you don't want a romantic relationship. It means you don't have the feelings that one would have in a romantic relationship aka you just don't feel romantic attraction
You can still desire a romantic relationship without feeling romantic attraction
Same things go for being ace

Thats unfortunately because a lot of people don't know romantic and sexual attraction js different. People say they are bisexual. Or pansexual. the suffix"sexual" was more commonly used and therefore people straight up don't know that aromanticism is a thing, and when they do come to figure that out, the concept of a separate romantic orientation ks very new so they just lump it in with asexuality Oike my cishetallo friend thought asexual means not being attracted to anyone, she didn't know that it meant to not be attracted to people sexually, and that ace people can still feel romantic feelings. Idk if this made sense but yeah. This is more of me trying to say why I think this happens Will explain in more detail later-
