      However, I believe that alloros who are supportive of arospec people should be welcome here. Education around aromanticism is important, and what better way to educate alloros than allow them in a space full of aros?

    I finished attack on titan and that one convo between eren and Armin confused me(also them suddenly grabbing into each other for a hug lowkey made me think they were gonna start making out)

    What was the most confusing thing is Armin saying he was going to hell with eren. Why?? I don't get it

    Being aro does not necessarily mean you don't want a romantic relationship. It means you don't have the feelings that one would have in a romantic relationship aka you just don't feel romantic attraction

    You can still desire a romantic relationship without feeling romantic attraction

      I very rarely have some cupioromantic moments. But I just have to remember people complaining about “emotional labour” they have to do for their partner, or their 100-point-long ick-lists. And then it immediately evaporates. 😃

      Sorry but I have answered your question before you asked it. Nuclear family is mostly a new thing, in traditional society in many cultures the marrying man is NOT leaving his family, all generations live together. So there's no need to pay his family. 

      I can see what you mean, that sadly misogynists can twist traditions and use them as pretext or means for objectifying. I am really sorry and I sympathize if someone here or someone you know was abused for excuses like that or something. It doesn't make the traditions themselves inherently bad.

      this is actually my favorite part of heartstopper! she really is a genius. as an aromantic i am proud to say she is one of the very few artist/writer that can keep me interested in romance for so long

      i like romance in fiction too i just can't really understand why things happen the way they do! but her stories are like really clear for me. it's like she knows how to tell a romance story just for me to get it😁 and i totally agree with! she has written all these characters with so much diversity and she hasn't done any of them smallest bit of wrong!
